First Communion

Preparation for First Reconciliation and First Eucharist is typically a two consecutive-year process beginning in the 1st grade. 

We understand that circumstances sometimes dictate that a child is older when the family can focus on these important and beautiful sacraments; we have alternative tracks for these children.

Generally speaking, a second grader will be in a combination class for two years (the first year includes 1st and 2nd graders, and the second year includes 2nd and 3rd graders). Older Elementary students take their first year of classes with their age group and their second year in a class specifically designed for students making their sacraments at a later age.

Middle school students participate in a one-year intensive class.

Older teens are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
